With the NSW Government lessening the Covid-19 restrictions we are now able to reopen our Churches for:

  • Mass and Private Prayer for gatherings of 10 worshippers
  • Funerals for gatherings of 20 worshippers (30 worshippers for Graveside Funerals)
  • Weddings for gatherings of 10 worshippers

In order to facilitate as many parishioners attending Mass and Private Prayer as possible we will open the Assumption Church between 9am and 3pm from Monday to Friday each week, and 8.30am to 12pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Mass times at The Assumption Church will be:

Monday           5.30pm

Tuesday          10am & 5.30pm

Wednesday     10am & 5.30pm

Thursday         10am & 5.30pm

Friday              10am & 5.30pm

Saturday          9am, 10am, 11am & 5.30pm

Sunday            8am, 10am (live-streamed), 12pm & 5.30pm

 

Mass will also be celebrated at:

Perthville        1st, 3rd & 5th Saturdays of the month            5pm

Rockley           2nd Saturday of the month                              10am

 

Note: The Cathedral is CLOSED for internal restoration work

Attending Mass – Bookings Essential

  1.  To attend Mass, you will need to book a time by phoning the Presbytery on 6331 3066 between 9am and 3pm on weekdays.
  1.  You will need to give your name and phone number.
  2.  Each individual or family must book individually.
  3.  Bookings are by phone only – not email, Messenger, via Facebook, etc.

The following Regulations will apply at all churches to ensure the safety of worshippers and those praying privately, and to comply with Government regulations concerning gatherings in churches.

Regulations

1. Only 10 worshippers at each Mass or for Private Prayer

2. Worshippers must have booked in for the Mass at the Presbytery prior to attending

3. Please do not swap bookings without letting us know beforehand.

4. For Private Prayer – please complete the sign-in sheet in the foyer, recording your name, phone number, time in and time out of the church.

5. Disinfect hands on entering and leaving the Church

6. Practice Social Distancing – stay 1.5 metres apart

7. Sit only on the places marked during Mass and Private Prayer – this will assist us when cleaning down the pews after each use as we’ll know which ones to clean

DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU:

  • have any flu-like symptoms, a cold or you are feeling unwell in any way
  • have a chronic medical condition
  • have a compromised immune system

For those unable to attend Mass in the Church, 

Mass will be live-streamed each week day at 12.30pm and 

Sunday at 10am
